Refund Policy
This page summarizes how refunds work for the Insights SaaS subscription and for VYRA Data's custom services. For the authoritative provisions, see Terms §9 and Terms §35.
Insights SaaS
- Cancel anytime in-app. Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Monthly plans: no prorated refunds for partial months. You retain access to the end of the period.
- Annual plans: if you cancel mid-term, we pro-rate a refund for full unused months only. Partial months are not refunded. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
- SLA service credits (under SLA A.5) are applied to the next invoice and do not extend the term.
Custom services (Foundation, Build, Shopify, and project work)
- Non-refundable once work begins. Deposits, onboarding fees, strategy fees, setup fees, and rush fees are non-refundable. This is because the engagement consumes dedicated calendar time, brand-strategy work, research, and creative effort that cannot be returned.
- Third-party costs (domains, hosting, plugins, stock assets, ad platform spend, fonts, licences) are non-refundable because they have been paid to the provider.
- Discretionary refunds. We may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund or credit if a project materially fails delivery for reasons within our control. This is decided case-by-case, in writing.
Care plan (managed hosting and maintenance)
- Care is billed monthly. Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid month.
- No prorated refunds for partial months.
- SLA credits (under SLA B.4) are applied to the next Care invoice.
VYN by VYRA merchandise
The merchandise store at shop.vyradata.com has its own return and refund terms posted at checkout and on the shop. For questions, email support@vyradata.com.
Stripe disputes and chargebacks
If you have a billing question, please email support@vyradata.com before initiating a Stripe dispute or chargeback. Most issues (duplicate charge, wrong plan, accidental renewal, expired card) resolve faster directly.
Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may trigger an automatic account suspension while we investigate. We will still cooperate with Stripe's dispute process and provide transaction evidence as required.
