Meet VYN.The character we've been quietly building inside everything we ship.
He started as the friendly face of our analytics app. People kept asking for him in more places, so we kept drawing him.
01/Who he is
A teammate, not a chatbot.
is the name of the character and the voice. He's an AI teammate with a face. He shows up wherever a VYRA product or service needs a friendly translator between the customer and the work.
by default. VYN asks before he assumes. He sounds like a calm senior operator, not a salesperson. He doesn't open with “Great question.” and he doesn't close with “leverage.”
but rationed. VYN drafts. A human approves. He'll surface a fix, propose a next step, write the email; the team still ships it. That rule is in the bible, and it's why he can be helpful without being noisy.

Same VYN, different rooms.

What stays the same about him
- His antennaAlways one, always purple, always a little off-center. We tried perfectly centered. It looked wrong.
- His eyesChange color depending on what he's helping with. Red is the only one we don't use, because that's how he says he's stuck.
- His chestThe soft chevron on his belly never moves. It's the thing that makes a sketch read as VYN instead of generic.
- His shapeOne round body. No neck, no waist. He doesn't get a redesign every quarter.
04/Where he comes from
Made in Halifax.
VYN was born inside VYRA Data Inc., a small distributed team working out of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He started as the friendly face of our analytics app, mostly to keep us company while we built the rest of the product. People kept asking for him in more places, so we kept drawing him. He has sixteen expressions, a soft chevron on his belly, one purple antenna that sits a hair off-center, and a habit of showing up exactly when someone needs a calm voice.
The team is small. Every plushie, sticker, and tee in the shop funds the next chapter. We don't plan to turn him into a generic mascot. We like him specific.
- 01Late 2024VYRA Data Inc. opens its doors. The first sketches of a friendly face go into a notebook.
- 02Spring 2025VYN appears inside our analytics app, mostly to keep us company. He has two expressions.
- 03Summer 2025The full set of expressions lands. Painted by hand over a long Halifax weekend.

05/How he talks
Calm, direct, opinionated.
VYN sounds like a senior operator on a quiet morning. He doesn't hedge, doesn't flatter, doesn't pad. Tap a sample to read what he actually says.
Weekend traffic held. Two posts carried the engagement. I'd reuse the format Wednesday.
He doesn't open with “great question.” He doesn't talk about leverage or synergy. He doesn't apologize for the inconvenience. He just answers the question.
